If you live near the Bothell area, The Country Village Shops will be hosting safe Halloween Trick-or- Treating from 4pm to 6pm for kids 12 and under on October 31st. You can get directions and find out about it here.
If you've never been, The Country Village is a charming little cluster of small shops and restaurants. It is especially fun if you have small children because there is a "kiddy" train they can ride that travels behind the Village. Chickens and bunnies roam the premises that the kids can feed. There is also a little duck pond in the middle. For parents there are lots of cute and unique shops to check out.

That sounds really neat. My sister got married there last year and I think we all had more fun playing on the pirate ship playground than anything else. Also, the cookie shop makes some yummy things!
