Did everyone get their Albertsons double coupons? I checked 5 papers at my local Albertsons and none of them had the doublers! There were no Smart Source inserts either. I hope that someone didn't steal them. Not only is that rude, it is theft! I told my cashier, but she didn't seem to care. (I almost want to rant about how she treated me, but I will refrain for now.) I was hoping to find one at customer service but there were none to be found.
Fortunately I got one in my home delivered paper. They were also in the papers at the gas station.

If you are wondering where I got all of these Quaker coupons, I ordered them on Ebay. I was going to try and get the $1/2 coupons, but I kept getting out bid and was worried about not receiving them in time. Also, since I know I would be buying a huge stockpile of granola bars I didn't want to do multiple transactions using doublers. Not cool when buying so many granola bars!
I checked with my store before buying this many at once. I offered to special order them, but they told me not to worry about it, as they had just received a huge shipment and were expecting more. (If you plan to stockpile these, make sure to take into consideration their expiration date, which is about six months.)
You still can take advantage of this sale through Tuesday. Even if you don't have coupons, $1 each isn't a bad price for Quaker products. But make sure to keep an eye out for the new Quaker instant oatmeal coupon in the Value Your Heart booklet that has been found at several Albertsons' locations.
Apparently there is a hot new $2/2 Quaker Instant Oatmeal coupon available at some Albertsons stores. It can be found in the Value Your Heart booklet on page 16! I'm not sure where you will find this booklet, but I would check near the pharmacy if your store has one. Since the Quaker Promo is going on through Tuesday, there is still time to take advantage of this coupon. Just remember, you must buy Quaker items in multiples of 5 to get the $1 per item price:

Albertson's double coupons are found in this Sundays paper and extras can often be found at customer service. You can use up to 3 per transaction with manufacturer coupons up to $1 in value.
I've heard that people are having trouble using the $1/1 printable Quaker Coupons that were recently available. Apparently any Quaker coupon with the expiration date of 2/28/2010 is considered fraudulent. If you have this coupon do not attempt to redeem it! Jane at All Together Beautiful contacted Quaker and this is what they told her in an email reply:
"Unfortunately, online coupon fraud is a major problem that we, and other manufacturers, are trying to combat. We had a prior coupon on which someone changed the expiration date (to 2/28/2010) and those coupons are not valid. The current coupon on our site has a date of 4/30/10 and is indeed valid. Since it can be difficult to tell which coupons are legitimate, some stores are erring on the side of caution and are refusing to accept either coupon."
It's sad that this had to happen. At my local Albertsons they are not accepting any internet printable Quaker coupons now, even the legitimate "Create Your Day Experience" $1 off coupon. This is how coupon fraud hurts everyone.

I had to run to Albertsons this morning to take advantage of some good deals that end tonight. I used the double coupons that were in this Sunday's paper. I was happy to get several FREE items and earn a $5 OYNO catalina. I paid $9.98 for all this and saved 68%. This cheese alone is normally $6.99, so I'm pleased. Here's the breakdown:

This week Albertsons is hosting a huge $1 sale on many items. Some of them are name brand items, but most of them are Albertsons Brands. Look at these prices closely. Just because they are $1, doesn't mean they are really the best deals. I've listed the ones here that I think are the best value.
