Using Paper & eCoupons Together Fred Meyer: Official Policy?

I emailed Fred Meyer a while ago to get some clarification on eCoupons, specifically on if you can use both a manufacturer paper coupon in addition to an eCoupon.  This was their response:
 
Electronic coupons are manufacturer coupons, not store coupons. You can only use one manufacturer coupon per purchase, so you cannot combine paper and electronic coupons for the same purchase. As the electronic coupon will come off automatically, I would advocate not offering a paper coupon for any item for which you have loaded an electronic coupon.

I'm kind of disappointed, but in light of this response I won't be matching up eCoupons and paper coupons.  I haven't been able to locate a written policy on this though, so I don't know how official it is.  I've never run into a problem using both, but I don't feel comfortable if they frown upon it.  I just wish they were a little more forthcoming about what their actual policy is!

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Just make sure to have a coupon for every bottle that you plan to purchase.  If your store has run out because this is such a hot deal, make sure to ask for a rain-check.  The coupon expires on 2/27, so you will need to check back this week.  Most stores get bi-weekly shipments according to my cashier today.

Fred Meyer Run: Purex Deal

Update: I believe this deal is dead!  I didn't get a catalina yesterday when I tried to purchase two more, and while I haven't read anything officially, I've read that others didn't get theirs either.
I needed milk and some produce yesterday, so I decided to try the Purex deal, and it worked!  I still get a little nervous about catalina deals, so I only bought two bottles (I haven't seen the official advertisement myself).  This cost  me $13.64, but I earned a $4 "on your next order" catalina, and  will go back today to get two FREE Purex since this deal rolls, using the $4 "OYNO" coupon I earned from buying the Purex.

Used 45¢/1 manufacturer coupon (only had 1 in my coupon stash)


Bananas 59¢ per lb (everyday low price)
Oranges 58¢ per lb (good price and in season!)
Roma Tomatoes 99¢ per lb (decent, but not a stock up price)
Asparagus $1.28 per lb (cheapest I've seen this year and yummy with dinner last night)
Milk $2.28 per gallon

Earned a $4 "OYNO" catalina!

According to Maygan you need to buy 2 of the 50 oz Purex bottles to get the catalina (the 60 oz bottles apparently don't trigger the coupon to print).  Mine didn't print until well into the next person in lines transaction.  So, if yours doesn't print immediately, just wait a few minutes.  My cashier was thankfully aware of this catalina and had me go me hang out until it appeared.   If you plan to roll this deal too, just make sure you have a cheap filler item with your second two bottles of FREE detergent!  Just remember, you need to buy each two bottles of Purex in separate transactions to get each catalina.  Thanks Maybe Frugal!

Kraft Coupon has Reset: Cheap Cheese at Fred Meyer!

The Kraft $1/2 coupon has reset on Coupons.com.  Kraft 7 oz. shredded varieties are on sale for $1.50 each at Fred Meyer this week with in ad coupon.  You can stack these coupons and get this cheese for $1.00 each.  That's not as good of a deal as last Sunday, but still a great price!  But hurry if you plan to do this deal, it is only good through Saturday.

Great Deal on Filippo Berio Olive Oil at Fred Meyer

I was in Fred Meyer this morning to take advantage of the Ziploc catalina promo and I noticed a super deal on Flippo Berio Olive Oil.  The large 25.5 oz varieties are on sale for $5.99 using the hangtag coupon that is on the store shelf next to them (pictured below). 

There was also a $1/1 manufacturer blinkie coupon  on the shelf.  Stack these coupons and you will only pay $4.99 for a large bottle of olive oil.  They normally sell for $9.69, so that is almost half off!

I'm not sure if all stores have this blinkie, so check your stash.  This coupon was on coupons.com recently and in some Sunday inserts.
